Damascus Has Come to Duncan

Mark your calendars for August 28th for our "Damascus Has Come to Duncan" Event.

A big community party! 4:00-7:30. Hotdogs, salads, Lemonade, Marimba music and the Iranian Jazz. Please come celebrate with us that our family is finally here.

Silent Auction and Raffle for gorgeous Persian Carpet. Venue to be here shortly.

Spirit Drummers' Hosted Lunch and Loonie Toonie Auction

Saturday, March 13th 12:00 am to 3:00 pm Another fundraising success story! A small event, attended by about 100 people, which raised just over $1,200! Huge thanks to Toosilum (Ron George), and Louise McMurray, along with all the Spirit Drummers who contributed to making it a wonderful day. Huy ch qù Siem.

Through the generosity of the people who attended, we raised $3,858!!

How you can become involved

There will be a list of opportunities here for you to become involved. We plan garage sales, dances, silent auctions, whatever we can do in order to raise the approximately $30,000 we will require to bring the family to Duncan and settle them in a home here.

There will be film nights and lots of fun stuff!
